Run your golf league without rebuilding standings every week

Set up your players, divisions and weekly schedule

Add players by hand or import them from a spreadsheet or your association’s standard member export, with likely duplicates flagged. Split them into divisions: each division has its own table, and players from different divisions can still share a group.

As golf league software, Parful starts from how your league works. Set-up asks who competes (individuals, or fixed teams of two, three or four), how you win (scores, matches or both) and when you play. For a weekly league you give the first round, the day and the last date, and Parful creates every round of the season, each 9 or 18 holes. You can duplicate a round to add one, or open a play window so players post their score any day that week.

Score from a phone. Follow the live leaderboard

Parful is a browser-based golf league management app: there is nothing to install from an app store. Each group’s scorer opens the round’s scoring link or scans its QR code, enters the club’s scoring PIN and keeps the card for the group hole by hole. Scorers need no account.

Organizers sign in to run the league, and players sign in with a free member account to sign up for rounds, follow their own results and start side games. Gross, net and Stableford come from the same card, and the live leaderboard follows the round on any phone or the clubhouse TV.

Update season standings when each night is finalized

Live scores move that round’s leaderboard, not the season table. The table moves when the organizer finalizes the round: prizes resolve, every round is recorded and the results page goes live. A round that is never finalized moves nothing, and the club home flags it until someone finishes it.

A points table scores by finishing position, adjusted for field size or not, by points for turning up, a mix, or points entered by hand; or it adds up Stableford points or net or gross strokes. Count every round or each player’s best ones. Match play is a separate competition with its own table, and a league can run both side by side.

Manage league handicaps and supported formats

Each player’s handicap sits on the roster and the club keeps it: entered by hand, imported from a spreadsheet or updated in bulk, with every change in the player’s history. Playing handicaps come from the course’s tees, rating and slope. Every round is recorded, and a player with a Parful account also gets a Parful handicap worked out from their rounds. Official numbers can be recorded under the player’s country’s system; no live link to a national handicap service is switched on today.

If your league cuts a winner’s handicap or eases it back after a missed week, set the rule once. After each round Parful suggests the changes and the committee applies all, some or none.

Know what your league pays

Free for up to 16 active members. From 17 to 300 members it is $9.99 a month after a 30-day full-access trial, and over 300 the price is set with you. Every league gets the full product. A league that has not subscribed when its trial ends becomes read-only: everything stays visible and exportable, but new rounds and live scoring stop until it does.

When a member pays by card, such as a night’s entry fee, the buyer pays one fee at checkout: Parful’s 2.5% service fee plus card processing (2.9% + $0.30), so the league receives its full price. A league can choose to absorb the fee instead.

Before the first Saturday

Import 32 players, make Division 1 and Division 2, and set up a twenty-week Saturday league at Heathfield. Parful creates the twenty rounds, a points table for each division and one overall, each counting a player’s best fourteen rounds.

Each Saturday

Sign-up closes on Friday, the field goes into 8 groups from the sign-up list, and each group’s scorer keeps the card on a phone.

Finalize from the clubhouse

The organizer finalizes the round: prizes resolve, both division tables and the overall table move, and the results go live.

Week twelve

After week twenty

Print the season standings, the prize list and the attendance register for the presentation, and start next season from this one.
